 Need a new protein skimmer Ok currently i have a .....seaclone 100 on my 30 gallon DT + 20 gal sump. It sits in a section of my sump with about 9 x 6 for room. I think its actually 9 x 7 but not sure, ill measure it when im home. What can i get thats good to replace that and have that foot print? Birthday is coming so there should be money to buy it. I would like to stay in the 100-200 range. Theres about 30 inches of height under there to.  |

| Re: Need a new protein skimmer you might want to chech out the asm mini skimmer,however the specs on the footprint say 10 3/4 x 6. |

| Re: Need a new protein skimmer get an octopus needlewheel and then mod it to recirculate.

| Re: Need a new protein skimmer The asm mini has its pump attached to the bottom of the skimmer which I guess is ok if you never have to replace the pump in a hurry bit the price is right at around 120$'s. |
