| Wow that sucks. Well it is a learning experience, and you can only go up hill from this!

| Damn that sucks. You did such a good job and then a broken heater kills them.I know how you feel but you can do it again.

| You'll get another batch in a few weeks. ![]() A good tip is to buy,or make yourself,a plastic base with lots of long plastic needles sticking out of it.Instinctively all the hatchees will make for it and stay swimming around between the spines.Wild babies would make for the nearest long spined urchin. This way they aren't wandering all over the tank are are easy to feed. ![]() |

| Hi I am new to this forum. Please can someone tell me how I even find the 'thingiemajig' button to post a question???? Yes, I am blonde..... or maybe you can help me.... new tank after many years so I have forgotten a lot and used to have a fish/invertebrate tank, now I have been given a full house - soft/hard corals (new to me), fish, live rock, etc etc. Blue tangs have white spot which I dosed with medication.. great... one purple protein skimmer... fish unchanged.. added garlic to food, raised water temp a degree or two... a little better.... is it fine to add garlic to their food once a week? How many cloves for a 300 gallon tank?? I work in litres here in South Africa so check if I am right - 1200 litres |
