| There is actually a fair amount on the web about breeding Banngai's. Frank Marini has written some good stuff and this can be Googled easily. Good luck. These fish may soon only be available as tank bred - going to listed by CITES this summer.

| Have successfully raised Banggais. The fry are large enough to eat freshly hatched brine shrimp napauli. Keeping the brine shrimp hatchery is a stinky, but manageable job. Have to feed the fry at least 3 times per day, which is hard to do and work a public job. Also have to be careful of water quality, lost several with a powerhead for water circulation. Ended up with a couple of airstones to keep the water circulated and aerated with FREQUENT water changes. Good Luck! A lot of work, but makes you proud. |
