| Banggai (sp) are not very hard to breed. The eggs are mouth bred by the male and are big enough to feed freshly hatched brine shrimp eggs at birth. My clowns frequently lay eggs, but all 3 pairs are in different reef tanks. The fry never survive after birth because they are eaten or pulled down the sump (for some reason that's where my clowns place the eggs - never on the rocks or hairy mushrooms or anemones. Islander |

| Clown fish are fun to breed. I'm also breeding mandarins but I'm unable to find anyone who has had any success rearing them. When clownfish are born, they swim to the surface and must be removed immediately and put into a seperate tank. You must be there for the hatch. The hatch will usually occur three days after the eggs turn silvery, one hour after lights out. ![]() |

| Hehehehehe....People dont want to read anymore nor do they want to search out people locally that are doing what they want to do. Its too bad really. Thats why the videos. Nowadays you can you tube for anything. You wanna talk reefing lets get a good buddy list going and do just that. Learn more that way. |
