Icon5 Cloudy eye............happens alot

Many of the new fish I have put into my tank have come down with a cloudy eye. Does anyone know why that is? Currently, one of my fish has a cloudy eye. What is the best way to treat it? With medication? With a fresh water dip? I have a 150 gallon FOWLR. I change about 40 - 50 gallons ever 2 weeks.

Thanks

It could be from poor nutrition, poison, or an infection. Since you change your water often, hopefully it isn't from high levels of chemicals within your tank. This site may help you to determine how to try treating for it. Fish Eye Disorders

The thing that would have me worried the most is that it shows up often on new fish, which indicates to me that the stress from moving is causing it to appear and also makes me think that it has to be something within your water that your current fish have grown accustom to.

Whatever treatment method you choose, do it in a q-tank. Most chemicals don't mix well with LR or inverts.
