Default Help!! White spots

I have 1 foxface, 1 yellow tang, 1 clown, 1 flame hawkfish, 1 coral beauty angal, 2 cleaner shrimp, 1 anemone, 1 sea urchin, and 3 crabs all in a 65gl tank.

About two weeks ago my foxface started getting white spots on its side, all the other fish have no sign of spots. I talked to my LFS and they said it sounded like ick and recomended i use Ick-Attack and soak food in garlic. I used the ick-attack for ten days like the bottle says. My foxface is better, but now the coral beauty and the yellow tang are covered with small white dots with some on the eyes (the spots are a lot smaller than what was on the foxface). The LFS said that i should continue the ich treatment. I have done that but the spots dont change. What i wanting to know is, is this still ick or is it something else more serious. What do i do.

My tank is a year old, the fish have been in there about six months. Salinity is at 1.023, temp is 78, pH is 8.3 and the rest is 0ppm

Why do you say the Lance? I know there is a black Ich, but normally we see the white spots. Just wondering.

The only proven method for ridding a tank of Ich is going fallow. It sucks but removing the fish from the display and placing them in a hospital tank is what you need to do. Look up Ich in the RB library to find out more about it. Lance more than often Ich is white. White Ich far more common than black ich and it is not responsible to say that ich would be black spot to someone who doesn't know any better. Please do some research on the topic you are answering a question for.

The spots are more fuzzy looking, someone told me that it could be Oodinium. I had another lfs tell me to block off all light soruces to my tank so that it would be completly dark so the fish would think it is night and go to sleep (so to speak) and that would help the fish fight off what ever is making it sick with the adding of meds. what do you all think of this??

Pictures would be great. I would be interested to see if it is indeed ick. I know the colors of rabbit fish change all the time. On a side note i prefer to use hypo as a cure to ick so if the foxface does have it set up a cheap QT tank.
