Even if it doesn't I thought it was a good investment for my fish health. Any lucky/disappointing stories from people who have used the stuff in the past ?

Most, if not all, diseases should be treated in a q-tank and not your main display tank. All ich treatments definitely apply to this. The treatment methods that are proven to work every time (hyposalinity & copper) are not reef safe. None of the reef safe ich treatments are proven to work. Most of them contain chemicals that either aren't reef safe, don't kill off the ich, or are meant to boost the fish's immune system so they can fend off the ich naturally. Many people think that the treatment is working, when in fact, the ich is just disappearing off the fish as part of the natural cycle, just to have the ich reappear a week later in much larger quantities. When it comes to ich, don't mess around - catch the fish and place them in a q-tank and then treat them using one of two proven methods, copper or hyposalinity.

Well right now I don't have a QT cause I took my 20g that I was using for that thought it was too small anyways... I am now making a sump out of it... looking for a 30-40 gal quarantine to do It properly. I thought Marine-Max would be a good product to have anyways....
