Default Melafix and anenomes

Hi, I have 2 caribean and 1 pacific anenomes in my tank. One of my fish has what appears to be a white puffy growth around the mouth. The man at the pet store suggested that we try melafix. Does anyone know if this would be harmful to the anenomes? Thanks!

do you have a quarintien tank or a hospital tank? my anemones didn't like it at all, didn't kill them sure made them look crappy though.

No, I don't have a quarantine tank, but after reading all the posts I'm suspecting that I should set one up!
