Default White spots?

Have a blue hippo tang. Been in the tank 2 months now. Only fish in there. Showed up with very pale white spots last week. Some days you can hardly see it and other days it looks much worse. Sometimes its much worse in the am and hardly detectable in the pm. I think his color isnt as dark blue as it used to be.
Will not eat seaweed off a clip or rock. Will eat it out of my hand or turkey baster though. Its like having a spoiled child. Everything I have gets soaked in garlic and has from the start. Eats krill and shrimp like crazy. Ive turned it into a fat fish.
What can I do or what should change for the pale white spots and feeding habits.
Are these spots ich? Fish does not seem to rub on anything and appears healthy at this point.

Default Re: White spots?

I'd be tempted to treat it as ich and move it to QT. It is good that it is still eating (wish it would feed itself, though...sounds like work). I haven't had anything lose color, which would worry me if it is an internal problem. But you might find that treatment is the same for your fish one way or the other.
