| Re: Omg... The Devil Is Here I usually go for the minimum 5 minutes and do it for a couple of days in a row. Ideally you want to do both home remedies and dope. You need a QT for this sort of thing. For most fish, copper is the best treatment. For gobies, usually nothing stronger than melafix or maracyn. And feed them well. For your main tank, you will want to try and leave it fallow for about a month or so. Maybe try hyposalinity. If you do not want to wait it out that long, a UV sterilizer will help catch free floating ich. QT fish from now on and it will keep you from having these emergency moments!
