Default Whiteish growth on Damsel head

I just noticed today when I got home from work this stuff on my Yellow fin damsels head. It is a darkish whiteish brown.. i guess you could say tan sort of. I have included pictures.. Does anyone know what it could be?? He is eating and swimming normally.. is my tank in jeopardy.. Sorry for the blurry pics.. it looks almost 3d like a lumpy substance.. not like ich though.. Do I need to get him out of the tank now?

I just realized i posted in the wrong forum.. MOD could you move it please?

Maybe this is a parasite, The one 3 stripe Damsel I had a few of his scales were poking out a bit.. then he died..
