Default need help with freshwater dip

My sailfin tang has come down with pretty bad ich. just resently i have lost my powder blue to ich and want to try a freshwater dip. i did it once for him in a bucket up freshwater. for 20 minutes and it dosnt seem to have changed anything on him. so can someone help me with some tips on it? Thanks
