My yellow tang has a brown stomach and is kinda buldgy. He also poops long strings a lot and sometimes eats them. Could these be worms? He acts ok otherwise but am concerned what has made his stomach area dark and why these long stringy things come out of him. Can someone suggest a remedy?

i am not sure what i long stringy things could be but if i were you i would section it away from any other fish

how big is the tang? I know that I am fairly new to the saltwater aquarium but I also have a yellow tang just like yours but he is only about 2" long so it might just be the size and the color of the fish with the lighting. I am no expert but maybe this will help

i read some time ago its due to lack of oxygen in the water move power head and pump outlit to the surfice of the water and turn bubblers up if poss it worked for me

My yellow tang has a little white/yellow line though the whole side of his body. Don't know what it is???

where abouts is it on the tail or strait through can you show a picture ?
fish always tellyou when somthing s wrong by odd behavior or a change in color or movement hope thats some help
