Look it up and see what everyone says...A freshwater dip worked for me with my clown...I left her in my RO/DI water for 5-6 minutes and then placed her back in the saltwater....The RO/DI was about 1 gallon mixed with one cup of saltwater...The fish will act a little drunk might i say and then it will then be fine after a few seconds...Hope this helps! Oh, make sure after treating you put in QT tank...I went to Wallie World and bought a ten gallon setup for 30 bucks so its well worth it to save your hippo...At least I get connected to my fish...

There are only 2 ways to get rid of ich-copper treatments and hyposalinity.

You cant use copper with tangs IMO. Its too harsh. Hypo works really will. Can I be honest with you? Your tang will continue to get stressed out because it is in such a small tank. When your fish gets stressed it looses its ability to fight off diseases on its own...
