Default Skimmer and Copper Treatment

One of my triggers have ich, so I'm treating my whole tank with coppersafe. Its a fish only with no live rock. I turned my skimmer off and also took out any carbon I had in my filters. Should I leave the skimmer off, or turn it back on?

Thanks

Just curious how many ppm of coppersafe you are at? Is it Mardel Coppersafe?

Anyway, for anybody that cares, there are different kinds of copper that you dose at different concentrations.(PPM)

Your protein skimmer won't have anything to do with your copper levels, that is pretty much left to chemical filtration.
Sorry this is so late.
