Instant Oceans Lifeguard. I read that in low levels you can use this therputically. I was wondering that if I get new fish, I can sue this to treat them whether or not they are sick, to prevent any future problems.

The best thing to do with new fish is keep them in a quarentine tank for 4 to 6 disease free weeks before putting them in the tank.I dont think treating fish not known to be sick is a good thing.

Not sure if this is true, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that medical treatments can cure disease but will likely reduce the lifespan. If memory serves, the post was in response to copper treatment.
