Default brooklynella, how long till the tanks ok?

my clown died , but 6 months ago i wouldn't have known he was sick at all. I treated him but like i told my husband when i first saw the dust like white spot, i knew he'd be gone in 3 days. he made it to the begining of the 3rd day. my family could not seee any thing wrong. i check all the stuff dayly and know i caught it very early.
any how, i have a clown in a 12 gal. but even though every one is back to good other then the dead clown, i'm still not too happy about putting him in there. how long should i wait. The tank has a damsel, scooter blenny. 2 shrimp and a few crabs and snails.
ps nothing was wrong with the damsel as far as fin rot or other issue. i think it must have got nicked by the clown, his tail got better right away before i gave him anything

does brooklynella have a life cycle like ich ? am i gonna have to clear the dt of inhabit untill all the parasites die. I got my ph and am. write in the qt. thank for all the help youv'e given me

Wow. No one has answered this? Disappointing.

I would leave that tank fallow (without fish) for 6-8 weeks.
