Default Trouble with alage in 30 gal FOWLR

I have a FOWLR with a Valentini, coral beauty, lawnmower blenny and shrimp goby. I've been trying everything to try to get rid of the algae in my tank. Done weekly water changes, a couple of red slime treatments. I just can't get rid of it. It comes right back within a few days of a water change. I use RO/DI water. I'm open for any suggestions. Thanks

What color is this algea and is it hard or soft and slimmy.
Whats the tank size and age?
All equipment used?
Do you have a test kit and the readings?

Listing all of your water parameters that you test for and how old your light bulbs are will help finding your problem area.

Algea dont well under lower lights. Only whene you change a bulb or increase the lighting then algea blooms can show. Your water flow is much more important then lighting and then yes your readings . JSYK
