Default Removing Damsels

I have a Domino Damsel that I know very soon I'm going to need to remove. He is very aggressive with my other smaller fish and is growing quickly. I would like to remove him though without having to remove everything else inside my tank (i.e. live rock, etc..). Any tips anyone?

fish it out! try using a straight pin and bend the tip about 1/8 of an inch back, then get some sowing thread and some bait, I have done it before, I removed before a red cardinal a pigmy angel, and yellow african chiclid, from my fwt. and they all were under 2-1/2"
they was aggressive though

I have also used this before, mainly tofish out an eel who continually swam into my overflow. But some other fish have nibbled on the hook when I add a bit of frozez silversides to it. that may help.

Well, the light trick did work, but his sleeping area was behind the live rock where I was unable to reach, so I ended up doing it the hard way, but all my little friends are doing fine, obviously with the exception of the Domino Damsel I removed. I gave him to my LFS to be sold to someone else.

That's nice of you to not kill the damsels. I know some people would have just flushed them.

Add the net in the water around the area he feeds at. Then feed for a few days. Then as he is feeding and off gaurd scoop it up.

i removed my domino by going fishing in my tank. he died a few days later when i put him in a bucket. i feel bad about fish hooking him but he made the bad mistake of trying to take out my new sailfin tang. too bad my qt tank wasn't set up yet, i probably could of saved him then. oh well its a plant tank now.
