Default 125 Wide Aquarium Build

Hello everyone! I am Hayden and bought a 125 gallon aquarium from glasscages. Here is what I have done so far!

1/12/09 (mind you it has taken me two years to get to this point!)
I am finally getting my tank! I would like to thank the people who have helped me over the past two years. (You people know who you are so I am not going to list names. Even though at some points you probably never thought this would come.)

I am very excited about finally getting this tank started! I went through glasscages to get a 125 wide aquarium. (72x24x17) This will be my first FOWLR other than my little damsel in a ten gallon tank. I have not had any saltwater tanks for two years other than my damsel, and am ready to get back to something bigger. It has been a long time picking the tank and deciding when to get it because of housing situations, but it is finally on its way!

The tank is reef ready with two overflows on the back piece of glass. I have a 55 gallon sitting around that I think I am going to turn into a sump. I am still looking at a skimmer and trying to decide which one is the "best bang for your buck." I am looking at aqua c skimmers at the moment because of space issues.
I have picked up a retrofit light kit for the tank. I think it will need more light, but we will see once it is up. I also have two korilia #4's that I think will be enough flow. Base rock seems to be the way to go as far as rocks. I am thinking about 100lbs. I do not like a ton of live rock in a tank, and would rather give the fish more room to swim.

1/17/09 I picked up the tank today!!!
Pics later today or tomorrow.

Ok, this is a horrible pic, but it will make do until tomorrow when it gets out of the van, and into my house. (It is on its side. When you are looking at the pic the top of the tank it is the back of the tank. haha hopes that makes sense.)

Sorry about dirty van.

1/18/09 It is home!!!
The tank is in the house! The stand is not finished yet, and is still in the shop. I just wanted to see if I had enough light, so I set the light on the top. I think it will be enough. What do you think from what you can see in the pictures? ( I am going to change the center light to a little more blue color.)

(I got a few pieces of lace rock that I liked, so I set them in the tank.)

I have been dreading this post for the past few weeks because I was hoping things would get better. Our basement flooded and nothing could be saved. The carpet and walls all had to be torn up. With the mold that started to grow nothing could be saved. New start with the basement means a major delay on this tank... I am so frustrated right now I don't know what to do.
