I had a dwarf lionfish that lived with damsel fish, if you keep em well fed I would not put anything smaller than a blue damsel with it. The lion that I had did eat the damsel after about 1 month or so even though it was a little smaller than the lion. I came home and wondered where the damsel was and noticed my lion's stomach was blue .

I have hadthree of them. They are in my opinion one of the hardest of the lion fish. I had to use glass shrimp until you can get them eating shrimp from a skewer. They in my opinion should not be kept with anything that they will have to compete with for food. I kept mine by his self in his own tank. I use to do a lot of lion fish, the Fu Man is my favorite.
