Default compatiability with size

I will be ordering a dwarf lion fish and a rogue scorpion from liveaquaria. Now the scorpion come anywhere from 2-4 inches and the lion come 2.5-3.5 inches. Say the lion comes at 3.5 inches, and the scorpion comes at 2.....will the lion eat the scorpion. I dont think it will, but I would like a second opinion.

Well, on liveaquaria.com, it states that a 30 gallon is large enough for a dwarf lion and a sorpion. I plan on moving them to a larger tank within a few months. And here is another question: Will the lion or scorpion(being 3-5 inches) eat a clown(3-4) inches. They would be in a 55 gallon reef tank. The clown also dwells in a bubble tip.

I already have the clown, but the clown couldnt fit in its mouth. It is probably an inch or 2 too big.
