Default Porcupine puffer in nano tank?

Hi, i was wondering if it is possible to keep a 4 inches (or even smaller) porcupine puffer in a 12 gal nano cube(jus 1 fish, nothing els). i was planing on using live sand but no or very little live rocks in the tank. i will replace the bioballs with live rocks. suggestions and ideas will be very helpful...thankyou =)

Personally I would not put the puffer in the nano such a small tank for a puffer mite stress him out.

The puffer you chose requires a tank of at least 90 gallons.

That is way too small of a tank for a fish like that.

They do sometimes have dwarf puffers that stay about 2 inches long.

Porcupine puffers get to be up to 3 feet. I think you want something like a Valentino puffer

12 gallon way to small for a porcupine...but you can get a little helmet cow. They totally rock. I had one a couple years ago his name was "pimp bob".Just be careful when box fish die they ooze out a poisen that can kill other tankmates. If you see them looking sick then u can put them in a QT. When mine died and it did not hurt anything else.
