Default Happy to find this site!!

Hello all, I am about to venture into the saltwater tank world and need all the help I can get. I have about 18yrs experience with dealing with freshwater but this will be my first salt tank. It will be about 4 to 6 months before I set the tank up(due to back surgery) but I wanna learn as much as I can before setting the tank up. I have a 55 free right now, but was considering buying a 90 gal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, need fish advice as well. What would go well in 90? What would go well in a 55? For right now I will be doing a FOWLR. Need to get my feet wet before even attempting coral. Ok I have rambled on enough. I look forward to learnig. Thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome to RB! Oh yeah go with the 90G most people usually want a tang and these fish require more room. Convert 55G into sump/Refugium or QT. We are happy you found us!

Is there a book or article that I can read to explain how to turn the 55 into a sump? After doing some more reading I am def going with the 90 or maybe another 125. At this rate I need a fish room. I really do like the blue tang it is so pretty. What are good tankmates for the blue tang. I downloaded the fish chart and have been reading it. Just want some personal advice too. Thanks
