your Salinity seems low to me for sharks. 1.026 is preffered last time I checked for sharks. Also your shark is also getting used to his enviroment. What type of food are you offering?

banded catshark

I have an 7 in long banded cat shark,in an 300gal aquarium. My sg-1.023,am0,ni0,na0-3ppm,temp80. ive had her for 4 days now and she still has not eaten. ive tried fresh frozen squid, krill, ghost shrimp(live),silversides, and raw shrimp, she wont eat anything! i drip acclimated her for 2 hours and ive checked my water parameters several times and keep getting no traces of toxins. all of my other fish are very healthy though. I guess her stubborness to eat is from stress of shipping from exoticfish.com/but if anyone has advice i greatly app. it!!!!!!

I have heard baby sharks are much harder to care for than larger ones, I have two large bamboo sharks (one about 24" and the other about 30") and they both ate within half an hour of letting them go in my tank. We all want to know how the shark is doing, keep us posted.

I want him to give us an update but the last activity was in 9-05-2006 so he hasn't been logging on to reef builders in a long time so I don't thank he is going to give us an update (I wanted to hear about the shark to)
