| clown triggers can get up to 14-20 inches long the wild. i don't know if they would get that big captive. i haven't heard of anyone having a trigger that big. eventually your tank size depends on how big your trigger gets, how many fish you have and how big those fish get. in general triggers that get 6-8 inches long should be kept in at least 100-150 gallon tank. |

| I recently traded in my clown.He was bought in the 1-2 in size and after 6 years was about 12 in.I had him in a 110 and it was starting to seem to small.He became quite a bully but was a great fish.
