Identification What in the heck is growing on my glass, corals, etc. Not sure what it is? Post here and we'll see if we can figure it out!

I have little white disc looking dots growth on my live rock, They scrap off anyone know what these are? They are everywhere.

Could be Ca carbonate that precipitates out of solution if your Ca & Alk are out of balance.
what are your params ?

I have very tiny white specks and I finally got a good look at one today. I think mine are tiny feather dusters or something like that. I could see something pop back into the white part when I got close.

Could be bleaching coralline algae, though it is really hard to tell by the pictures. Do they seem to be getting larger, smaller or stay the same since you first noticed them?

It could also be that the snails in your tank are attempting to breed. If you see any on your glass get a magnifying glass and look at them. Are they swirly? Snail eggs!

they are all the same size. Good point they might be snail eggs... how long do snail egg to take hatch and notice them in your tank??

I have no idea. I think the larvae get eaten by the dragonet before they can be noticable.
