Identification What in the heck is growing on my glass, corals, etc. Not sure what it is? Post here and we'll see if we can figure it out!

Default What coral is this ????? .. i got a better picture of it.....

NOT the green star polyps but the coral next to it ???

40 gallon Reef- One Yellow Wrasse, 2 Chromis, Hermits, Snails, one Sand Sifting Tiger Starfish, one fighting conch, and Corals- one frogs span coral, one Green striped and purple mushroom rock, one orange mushroom frag, purple glove xenia, Tan xienia, 2 differnt types of green star polyps, one Cynarina coral, , one Fox coarl, one button polyp rock one plate coral, one yellow scroll coral, one Big Orange Montipora capricornis, one 2 mouthed Orange Ricordea Mushroom, Two Blue Maxima clam, One Red Scolly, One Big Yellow Trumpet Coral, and some yellow Zoas.

It is a cyanaria an LPS coral.

WOW guys THANKS ALOT !!!!! haha been trying to find out well whats it supposed to do the coral i mean does it move or does it just sit still cuz mines doesnt expand or anything

button coral doesnt move, I would actaully put it on the sand bed

they do better lower to middle level but when they actually get fully polyped out then they can tear there flesh on the LR. You can put them on the LR but if you got annoying snails, hermit etc. they move it and tear it.
