| Identification What in the heck is growing on my glass, corals, etc. Not sure what it is? Post here and we'll see if we can figure it out! |

| I was doing maintenance on the sump of my 120 display tank and noticed a milk colored blob about 2" around attached to the side of the wall and another attached to the side of the return pump. For the most part it reminds me of a big blob of silicon with a siphon sticking out the top of it. The texture reminds me of a bad burn blister. Sorry i dont have a picture but i'll see what i can do about getting one..till then, anyone have an idea of what this could be? |

| Probably a tunicate. They are non-photosynthetic filter feeders. Wetwebmedia, Aquarium, Pond, Marine and Freshwater Fish, reef tanks, and Aquatics Information has some nice photos to confirm if that is what you have. |
