Default weird red alien balls in my tank

I have these strange little balls attached to a peice of large live rock which was recently purchased. They are dark red in color, attached to a small stalk and are approx 1/4" in diameter. They totallly look like something out of a sci fi movie. Also they are slightly transparent and I do belive they start out green in color at least there are a few similar looking specimens that are on the same rock which are green but there is substantialy more red. Any ideas? I will try to attach a pic but may fail in doing so, not so good with computers

Well I cant get a link to it but if you coppy and paste this
Picasa Web Albums - Erich - Aquariums
It should take you to a web album and the pic and feel free to look at the rest of the pics of my tanks that is if it works and you are intrested I have a 46 bowed and I care take for my mothers 56 oceanic

Default Bubble Algae?

Could be bubble algae but not sure. That sure is a nice piece of rock you got there. lots of life in the picture where did you get the rock? I viewed your album Very nice Pictures and your tank looks great! If that is Bubble Algae it is bad and do not burst it contains some kind of toxin and it spreads.

I purchased the rock at mt lfs in milwaukee wi, payed way to much for it but it was way to sweet to pass by. It weighed like 11lbs. I asked them what it could be one of the guys there said it was just some sort of macro algaeso so I uped my tank cleaning task force ie I got 2 emerald crabs 2 sneals and 10 blue crabs. I am glad you enjoyed the pics and thankyou for your reply all advice is greatly appreciated. do you have any pics of your tank(s) I love to see what other people create.
