| Any idea what this is? Found it in a stone crab trap yesterday. I was thinking it's in the bass family or grouper family but I can't find a picture that matches it. Thanks for the help. Reef Safe or not? |

| Soapfish, Rypticus sp. Not particularily reef safe - will eat small fish and shrimp, and as their name implies, can release a foul substance from their skin. Jay |
