Identification What in the heck is growing on my glass, corals, etc. Not sure what it is? Post here and we'll see if we can figure it out!

Icon5 Can someone help me ID this.

I got a new rock for my tank, with some plants on it, but don't know what this orange and reddish thing is, Thank you.

It's the kind of colonial tunicate that has a shared outcurrent siphon. That's the circular structure with white dots around it.

Leslie are you sure that it's a colonial tunicate? it looks like the big fatty solitary species that has an orange tunic and often comes from the Caribbean and Florida.

I took a second look and you're right about it being a solitary. Photo 006 has the best view showing the other siphon which is at about 6:30-7:00 in the image. I had focused on the bumpy skin which looks like a clump of individual animals.
