Default tiny white things

I am trying to figure out what is in my tank, I just noticed it. it looks like tiny, i meen tiny lttle white specks on my glass that seem to be moving, to small for picture. They are floating in my water and on the glass , they look like little fleas.
Answers anyone??? will it hurt my 4 month old tank, I have no fish in it yet, Just live rock snails hermits shrimp sand sifting start and some soft coral, which all are doing fine.

They are "pods" and for them to be in abundence in a 4 month old tank with no fish is very common, they will "level out" with time... perfectly normal and its showing your tank is pretty healthy so far

pods are very beneficial, they eat leftovers.

They will help consume detrius, excess foods, etc.

DONT get a mandarin if your tank is only 4 months old. Wait at LEAST 8 months, unless you found one thats eating prepared food. Otherwise it will slowly starve after a while. These fish eat around 300 pods a day easily.

Yeah, definately dont get a mandarin. the are considered "dificult" to take care of because of their picky eating habits.

I got a Target (psychadelic) Mandarin that the guy at my LFS showed me ate MYSIS. He through a couple MYSIS in the tank at the store and he gobbled them up. Took him about 3 days to start eating the MYSIS in my tank but now he will eat a couple a day whether I target feed or not (if my fire shrimp don't steal it out of his mouth!).

Here is "Spot" as my 6 year old has affectionately named him!
