Could you show us some pictures of your worms? I have found them grazing on my corals and killed others. Your statement is true they do have a job in nature. I refuse to feed them my coral though. do you have corals? I am not picking on you sarha. I am just wondering what the circumstance's are. Maybe it's posible it's not bristle worms in your tank. Please post pic's. When do you see these worms? |

| The Following is Qouted from: Bad Type Bristleworms Control - Introduction There is a picture of this worm Primarily it is the Pherecardia (Pacific), Hermodice (Caribbean), and other related species that one needs to be concerned about. These Fireworms are errant (roving) carnivores that can cause much damage in a reef tank. They bare toxic bristles on their bodies that can inflict a sting of a very painful degree, posses strong jaws for feeding, and can reproduce quite rapidly. Also because of the confuson in some threads I am also posting this link: Microscopy-UK Micscape Microscopy and Microscopes Magazine |

| I think that this forum is great but that sometimes things maybe read wrong or taken personally I enjoy reading your comments anyway back to the debate. I have a dragon wrasse in my tank that loves these critters. Yeah thats right a dragon wrasse. What an interesting fish to have in your reef. Please be sure to know what you are getting into if you add this fish to your tank. These can wreak havoc. Great for FOWLR But my dragon will be finding new home soon! ![]() Last edited by jvharding; 04-15-2007 at 03:50 AM. |

| I have had him a couple months. They are not kidding when they say these fish are rock movers. He is strong and turns plenty of rocks upside down looking for worms. Really cool fish. This is not a reef safe fish! |
