Default brown blobs, white swirls, pink slime & a tiny star?

I have so much on my live rock that I wonder about. On one piece there is lots of dark brown blobs. Looks sort of like sponge or something, they stick out from the rock.

There are also on the glass and on rocks, tiny white swirls or spirals, look like a speck of sand except when you lookm really close they are swirls.

Then there are some blobs very spongy looking, one blob of pink and one it white.

There are also areas that have tiny whitish branch or tree like things.

And a few days ago hubby and I saw something that looked like a star, not a tiny britlestar which we have also seen, but a 1/4 to 1/2 inch white flat 5 armed star, looked just like a tiny starfish. It was gone the next day. Can baby starfish be on live rock? I just hope it's not one that eats corals, since it was shaped a lot like a choc chip star.

We upgraded our tank and there was the most beautiful purple branch like sponge growing on one rock that i meant to place in view in the new tank but forgot.

Thanks

The swirls on the glass and rocks are tube worms. Do not be concerned about those. I would also not worry about starfish. Enjoy it. Stars can come from the rock or the corals as hitchhikers.
Send pics if you can.
