 white stuff on mushroom rock...what is it hi i just bought a nice size beautiful orange mushroom growing on live rock. i just noticed that on the bottom of the rock there is some white stuff covering the rock. i dont know what it is. almost looks painted on(but its not) any help would be great...worried what it would do to the rest of my coral and tank. please any info would be really helpful...thanks.  |

| Re: white stuff on mushroom rock...what is it I found white stuff (like thick white slime) on one of my rocks and a bit of it stuck on the side of my clown fish. My Euphyllia had fallen off the rock and it oozed this stuff. It fell off the Clown and I vacumned the rock. Haven't seen it since. The Euphyllia seems to be fine. Anyone know what it is? Is it coral waste? |
