My sweeties damsels are always white when we turn the lights on and black when agrivated or stressed.the older they get the meaner they become. And one of them has made me wish I had on oscar on many occassions lol. That sure looks like a damsel profile but I dont recognize the color, unless its a not so good pic of a blue green chromi.

| yeah he was fine at first...but thants because i had a sergant major that was bigger than him and once i got rid of him the blue fin became the bully in the tank, i gave him to my lfs because he wouldn't let my clowns come out of the corner!

Damsels are hard to predict...if there picking on my more expensive fish then the damsel just goes back the LFS where they give me a store credit for another fish which works for me...

At one of my lfs they have a blue damsel that is almost black,FREE. you can take him home today and be one of the 20 or so that cant keep him he is so mean.

Mine was fine when I first got him. He was with just a green spotted puffer. Then I got a clown and the damsel chases him around the tank. When he sees the clown going for a piece if food, he runs after him. Most of the time, the clown will hold his own, but sometimes he gets scared away. I've figured out a way to make sure the clown eats but there's only so much I can do. I'm thinking about getting rid of him..
