 Good crab or bad crab? I have a crab that was a stowaway on my LR. He is the size of an emerald crab except he's orange. His arms are orange & brown striped w/black tipped pinchers. Any ideas?  |

| Re: Good crab or bad crab? I"ve attached two pics. The one is of a red mithrax crab which is good and the second is a gorilla crab (has the black tipped pinchers) which is bad.

| Re: Good crab or bad crab? Black tipped. Might want to google Xanthid crabs. I am under the impression that black tipped crabs are no good.

| Re: Good crab or bad crab? You sure it is not pink in color and not orange. I have a strawberry crab that looks just like an emerald crab but is pink and has black tip pinchers. They are safe. |
