Default I am scared of this thing...

Seriously I jumped out of my skin.

I came home from work in the middle of the day today and saw something sticking out from inside of my LR it is:

1. Pink…bubble gum pink
2. Long and Flat with little legs/teeth also pink on the right and left side of body sticking straight out.
3. I turned on my light and in was LIGHTNING fast and pulled back into the rock.

CREEPED ME OUT!

I still have goose bumps. This is in my 12 gallon nano cube what the heck could it be? I’ve seen photos of bristle and flat worms and that is not it. Oh please advise brilliant ones.

it is hard to say, a pic would be the best thing you could do right now. maybe set up a trap for a few days and cheack it each morning.

Sounds like a bristle worm to me. You can leave it in the tank. It shouldn't hurt anything. Don't try to grab it with your fingers- it didn't get the name "bristle" for nothing. Don't tear it in pieces should you try to pull it out. Just watch your corals - sometimes they will decide to munch on them. If you see evidence of that then take it out.
