 small crab in my acro I picked up an birdsnest coral the other day at a LFS and when I got home I noticed it had a very small crab living in it. I can’t get a pic because he won’t come out but, it is a dark color with gold arms. It can't be much larger than the head of a large nail. I spends the day cleaning the coral. Any ideas?  |

| Re: small crab in my acro I bought an acro that was the same way. Without pics its impossible to say for sure, but it is probably harmless.

| Re: small crab in my acro Could be a trapeziid crab. Supposedly they are small and they are found on these types of coral. They have a symbiotic reltionship with the coral. They keep it clean and protect it.
