Default What is this slime and how do I get rid of it?

I did a water change today and all this slime started floating in the water. Any idea how to get rid of it or what it is?

Not an expert on frogspawns even though I have one. I do have a small cube and I notice you have 25# of LR in yours. Good filter but maybe you need a little more water flow from a small powerhead and keep your temps down a little say around 76-77. Make sure your water params are in line and maybe start a 15% water change every week for a few weeks and see if there are any changes. A few simple things to try that will not hurt anything. Good luck and keep us posted!

I would also change that filter in the back of your cube every waterchange for the few weeks you try it. Are you skimming or just doing regular water changes?

Thanks for the info. I use the skimmer that came with the cube.(I know, I know). I switched from a 12g cube pump to a 24g pump but it seemed abit much. I think my water temps are my problem. Im in houston and my water temp averages 82-85 degrees. I do three gallon changes everyweek, and I clean the filters on a regular basis.
