I recently ordered some LR via ebay, some pretty nice walt smith. This was on 1 of them there are a total of 5, haslittle holes on top side. ShouldI try and pull it off or leave it be?

Unfortunately for sponges it's tough for them to stay alive as air is deadly to them. More than likely it will slowly waste away but it may possibly hang on. I just have read that sponges can never hit air otherwise they have a high risk of dying.

If it is a sponge, I hear they are hard to keep. You may Google to find out if they are toxic as they make their exit, but more than likely, you could leave it where it is.
