 looks like a Q-tip tube Hey all sorry the pic is not great but.. It seems to me it looks like a Q-tip end with a hollow tube in the middle. They are only growing on one peice of LR that has a red feather duster on it(for now). I do have some aiptasia in the tank i know what it looks like and this not it. any help would be great. any help with where to look to identify..

| Re: looks like a Q-tip tube I know it might be hard to take a picture of them but you really cannot tell what that is from that picture. It might be a casing for a tube worm or an actual tube worm. |

| Re: looks like a Q-tip tube It looks like a fuzzy picture of a calcareous sponge. Does it somewhat resemble a pineapple with a hole in the center and a little tuft at the openning? Harmless, will come and go with nutrients. Overfeed and you will see more of them!
