I was told ricordea's were related to anenome. I actually just got one last week and it's edges are starting to get longer nothing like that. IMO I think it's be worth researching more, either it's really happy or really looking for food?

Go and touch the "tenticles", Se what it does. My anemone would allow me to touch it without reacting. Every coral I have would srivle up and "hide" Maybe that will help. Maybe not. Im not to sure but I would like to know...

ive tried that tonz, when i touch it it tried to grab me!

I have had it for a while. maybe a year or so. i was told that rics multiply fairly quickly, so when this thing has only grown a little and the second mouth got bigger, im startign to think twice that it is a ric.

they have good stuff there. and it is for a good cause too, they are taking all the black rock urchins out of the reefs durring hurricain season so they dont die from tumbling rocks. then when the season is over, they put them back.

They are anemone from what I've read, and not corals but they are cool none the less. I think mine is starting to 'pinch' which is usually a sign of (there is more than 1 way they can split) them splitting.

Check this out. I didn't think I'd be feeding my ric shrimp. I read this about 10 minutes ago and tried it. I put some shrimp on top of my ric and next thing i know his mouth opened real big and he ate it. Of course I had to shoo away my clowns and cleaner shrimp so they wouldn't steal it first
