Default red tubes.

I have looked and looked and looked. I cant find any info on these.....these.....thing s.

They look like those tiny feather dusters, but the tubes are red. There is no "crow" just a tube. Whenever I feed my fish, they release this.....spider web looking gunk. The gunk is in a long string, anywhere from 2-5" long. I know, i dont have a pic, but these things are so smalle, im talking about maybe, 1/4-1/2 inch. I have several of them in the tank on the LR. Maybe 15-20. They are not in a cluster, but one here and one there.

My guess would be a spaghetti worm or hair worms. I have some and they are a red color never bigger than 3/4 of inch and have fine hair like things that come out and eat any extra debris in my sand. They are always buried in the sand and you can see their bodies up against the glass and the hairs sticking out of the sand for food. They are good as far as I have been told. Try and google this and lok for pics for a comparison.

no, those are not them, athough they do look a little similar, except the stuff that sticks out is like a peice of thread. and only one peice. they will also retract the gunk.
