| That is neomaris annulata. It is a type of macro algae. It is harmless to your tank inhabitants and will actually help reduce your nitrates if it propagates, which it will...mine has. If you don't mind what it looks like. It's also known as fuzzy tipped algae and caterpillar worm algae.

| i like the way this algae looks. in fact, i like the way the other macro algae looks that i have growing in there as well. the way it sways back and forth with the currents in the tank is nice, and is making it easier to wait on putting fish in. anyway, thanks for the identification!
