| this is taking over the 10g. the tank is located in front of a full window. dumb, right? well i thought thick black curtains would keep it safe. I need to get a back ground for it. will that fix the issue? i'm working with little placement options here, but will re-arrange apt. if needed, lol. If i kill the algae will it mess up the chemistry? I've never had algae out break more than a small spot. is there anything i should watch for? |

| I would paint the back black or a dark blue(thats what I did to mine). Also make sure your using Good water as well as water changes often. If an option turn off tanks light for a couple of days.If cycling tank you will get an algae bloom (part of the process). Hope this helps still kinda new to reef tanks.. |
