| Identification What in the heck is growing on my glass, corals, etc. Not sure what it is? Post here and we'll see if we can figure it out! |

 3mm diameter white things growing in spiral I have a bunch of 1-3mm diameter white things growing in a spiral pattern. They are on my rock and some on the glass. Started after a massive red algea removal and water change in my 50gal. Any ideas?  |

| Re: 3mm diameter white things growing in spiral Probably as Ed has mentioned about the worms. They grow on anything...glass, rock, equipment, snail shells. If you look close enough, you might even see a white feather deaster pop out the end. They are harmless and easily scraped off. |
