Default Should I clean this stuff off my rocks?

I am moving my 29 Biocube into a 55 gal and want to make sure I am not importing any unwanted stowaways. Are these things bad? What are they?

The stuff in the top pic has not changed in a long time. Looks like some kind of tubeworm. It is hard to see but there is a filmy fan at the end of each stalk.

The things in the bottom pic secrete some stringy stuff when I agitate the tank at all by putting my hand in it or doing a water change. They are scattered about the rocks.

Thanks for your help.

At least six or seven months. Took a few months for them to show up.
