Identification What in the heck is growing on my glass, corals, etc. Not sure what it is? Post here and we'll see if we can figure it out!

Default can anyone identify

I was wondering what kind of conch this is. The guy at the lfs told me but ive forgotten and he hasnt been in for 3 days now due to family problems and its driving me crazy trying to remember what he is.

I dont know what kind it is, but I have some shells that I found while diving in the S.Pacific

Hehe yeah only ever see the bugger during feeding time stays buried under the sand any other time. See his trunk stuck up outta the sand is the only way youll find him any other time. moves pretty quick too. Really made a difference on keeping my sand bed clean though.

It's a fighting conch, good scavenger
I have 2.
High calcium levels really help them grow, my first one was maybe 1" long, now atleast 4"

My calcium is actually on the high side its at 460ppm with is 20 ppm lower than its been since its been set up lol. They come up everytime i feed the fish and mill around and gather scraps other than that i never see em cuz there burrowed under the sand.

Mine climb the glass now and again, thats all they do.
their not seen all the time.
For the longest time I wondered if they were still alive.

Yeah mine climb the glass too but usually their shell will shift to one side and theyll fall lol. Pretty amusing to watch.
